Greenock Morton vs Alloa Athletic - Morton wait on Lee Kilday for visit of Alloa

Morton defender Lee Kilday is a doubt for the visit of bottom side Alloa after picking up a knock in Tuesday night's 3-2 success over Queen of the South.

Knee injuries again rule out Frank McKeown and Conor Pepper, with Michael Tidser (groin) and Peter MacDonald (back) also missing.

Manager Jim Duffy is predicting a hard contest despite the Wasps' lowly position, and he said: "Alloa have not been far away from any side in the league this season and, despite a few knocks, they keep fighting on.

"They are a very competitive side who will not be accepting anything, so we will need to play well to win."

Alloa could be without Graeme Holmes, Eddie Ferns and Burton O'Brien as they look for their first win in nine games, with the trio all doubtful due to injury.

The Wasps released Michael Chopra this week after continued problems with an ankle injury.

Manager Jack Ross said: "Things are up against us. However, I am really pleased with the effort that is getting put in by the players. They could have lost a bit of hope by this stage of the season but they are still doing everything they can to win games.

"We will go to Morton and look for the three points that keeps things interesting."
