Livingston vs St. Mirren - Jackson Longridge and Gary Glen miss out for Livingston

Posted Friday, March 18, 2016 by PA

Second bottom Livingston will be without Jackson Longridge and Gary Glen as they host a St Mirren side seven points ahead of them in the table.

Defender Longridge is suspended, while striker Glen has a groin injury.

Manager David Hopkin said: "Our home record recently has been good with draws against Falkirk and Hibs together with wins over Alloa and Dumbarton.

"It would be great to add a win over St Mirren to that list. However, it will not be easy as Alex Rae has done a great job there. We beat them 4-1 in my first official game in charge back in December but the two teams have changed a lot since then."

St Mirren welcome back Jack Baird from suspension as they look for their first away win since January 2.

Everyone else in Rae's squad is available, with the Paisley boss saying: "I am very respectful of the teams below us in the table and recognise that Livingston will see this game as a great chance to pull themselves closer to us.

"They beat us 4-1 in what was my second game in charge back in December.

"I reckon that could prove to be a blessing in disguise as it showed areas that we needed to work on. This game will prove if we have worked on the right areas."
