Crawley Town vs Hartlepool United FC - Mark Yates has no new concerns ahead of Crawley's clash with Hartlepool

Crawley manager Mark Yates has no fresh injury or suspension worries as his side prepare to host Hartlepool on Saturday.

Joe McNerney (knee) is the only player with a long-term injury but he is getting closer to returning for the Reds.

The defender has resumed training and played 90 minutes earlier in the week in a training game against Portsmouth, and Yates hopes it will not be long before he is back in contention.

The Reds are unbeaten in three games, and with an almost full squad to choose from, Yates is pleased that there is competition for places for the first time this season.

Hartlepool boss Craig Hignett hopes to be able to call upon Rob Jones once again as he looks to extend a three-game unbeaten run at Crawley.

Central defender Jones missed Tuesday night's 0-0 draw at Newport with an eye injury suffered during Saturday's 3-1 home victory over basement boys Dagenham & Redbridge, and he will be assessed before Hignett names his team.

Pools otherwise have no fresh injury concerns, with Michael Duckworth continuing to work his way back after hernia surgery.

The north-east club will head for Sussex buoyed by a return of seven points from the last nine available which has lifted them eight points clear of second-bottom York with games in hand on all the sides around them.
