Ipswich vs Rotherham United - Liam Feeney could make his Ipswich bow against Rotherham

Winger Liam Feeney could make his Ipswich debut at home to Rotherham.

The 29-year-old has joined the Tractors Boys on loan from bottom club Bolton until the end of the season.

Forward Luke Varney impressed when coming off the bench in Tuesday's 2-0 win at Blackburn, so he could be in contention for a place in the starting XI, along with defender Kevin Foley, who has been carrying a rib injury.

Republic of Ireland striker David McGoldrick has stepped up his rehabilitation from a hamstring tear but needs to recover match sharpness.

Rotherham will welcome back Greg Halford from suspension.

Halford missed last week's 3-3 draw with Derby as he was serving a one-match ban but he is likely to return to the side at the expense of Paul Green.

The Millers will hope that Richard Wood (hamstring) is fit enough to take his place at Portman Road after he also missed out against the Rams.

Boss Neil Warnock could be tempted to start with Leon Best after his two goals against the Rams completed an unlikely comeback, where the Millers were 3-0 down until the 82nd minute.
