Milton Keynes Dons vs Brighton & Hove Albion - Carruthers sits out clash with Brighton

Samir Carruthers has been suspended by MK Dons and will miss the home game against Brighton.

Pictures emerged this week in a national newspaper appearing to show Carruthers, and Shrewsbury striker James Collins, who is currently on loan at Northampton, urinating into a glass at the Cheltenham Festival and the latter throwing the contents over a balcony.

His absence leaves Dons boss Karl Robinson short of players in central midfield, with injuries to Ben Reeves and Jake Forster-Caskey.

Robinson could play centre-half Antony Kay as a makeshift midfielder and recall Jordan Spence at the back.

Brighton hope to have Bobby Zamora back in contention.

The veteran striker missed Tuesday's 1-0 win over Reading after suffering a minor knock in training.

Zamora is likely to start on the bench with James Wilson set to keep his place up front after hitting the winner against the Royals.

Defender Uwe Hunemeier (groin) and midfielder Solly March (knee) are the only definite injury absentees.
