Doncaster Rovers vs Peterborough United - Double injury boost for Doncaster

Doncaster boss Darren Ferguson has received a double injury boost ahead of his side's Sky Bet League One clash with Peterborough.

Ferguson will have James Coppinger and Craig Alcock back in contention as Rovers look to end a wretched run of form which has seen them slide towards the relegation zone.

Coppinger has finally recovered from the ankle problem which has dogged his season while Alcock has also passed a test on a muscle strain.

Last week's 2-1 defeat at Bradford stretched Rovers' winless league run to 11 games and left them hovering outside the drop zone on goal difference.

Peterborough welcome back Ben Alnwick, Harry Beautyman and Ricardo Santos.

Goalkeeper Alnwick is fit after missing the last four games with an ankle injury while midfielder Beautyman is back involved after his unspecified absence during Saturday's defeat to Port Vale.

Defender Santos is available after his two-match ban having been sent off in the loss to Bury.

Graham Westley's men are winless in their last seven league games, six of which have been defeats.
