Oldham Athletic AFC vs Rochdale - No new worries for Oldham
Posted Thursday, March 17, 2016 by PA
Oldham have no fresh injury problems for Saturday's Sky Bet League One home clash with Rochdale.
Dominic Poleon is still not ready to return after sitting out the last eight games due to a groin issue.
Fellow forward Rhys Turner (knee) is the only other player unavailable to Latics boss John Sheridan.
Sheridan's men are looking to build upon the 1-0 win over fellow strugglers Blackpool on Tuesday, which took them up to 21st in the table, level on points with 20th-placed Doncaster.
Rochdale striker Grant Holt is a major doubt with a back problem.
The big front man missed Saturday's win over Bury after suffering spasms and is unlikely to be risked after manager Keith Hill admitted he needs to be "ironed out".
As a result Nyal Bell was recalled from his loan spell at Chester but was an unused substitute with Ian Henderson playing the lone role up front.
Striker Calvin Andrew (foot) and defender Scott Tanser (leg) are doubtful while illness forced Olly Lancashire to miss a fifth successive game, reducing the chances of a recall this weekend.
