Stade Rennais FC 2 - 2 Lyonnais: Rennes hit back to earn Ligue 1 draw with fellow Champions League hopefuls Lyon

Jeremie Boga equalised eight minutes from time as Rennes battled from two goals down to draw 2-2 against fellow Champions League hopefuls Lyon.
Goals either side of half-time from Rachid Ghezzal and Alexandre Lacazette looked set to lift Lyon into third place in the Ligue 1 table before the late drama earned the hosts a 2-2 draw.
A third straight win looked on the cards for the visitors after a dominant first period in which Ghezzal brought a fine pair of saves out of home goalkeeper Benoit Costil before fine work from Maxwell Cornet set up the Algerian's 33rd-minute opener.
Lyon looked on their way to victory when Lacazette headed home his 13th goal of the season 10 minutes into the second half - but an inspired pair of substitutions by home boss Rolland Courbis paid off.
Fallou Diagne gave the hosts hope 20 minutes from time when converted a corner from Ousmane Dembele, sparking a dramatic finale in which both sides had chances to add to their tally.
After Lacazette missed two good opportunities to add a second goal, Rennes grabbed the equaliser when Dembele's initial shot was saved by Anthony Lopes, and Boga was on hand to fire home the follow-up.
It was a potentially crucial point for Rennes' own European ambitions, as it left them just one point behind their opponents in fifth place in the standings with eight games of the season still to go.
