Tottenham to launch $35 million bid for Henderson

Mauricio Pochettino is keen to strengthen his squad following an excellent season at White Hart Lane and has identified the Liverpool skipper as a potential acquisition

Tottenham is set to launch a 25 million pound ($35.4 million) bid for Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson this summer, according to The Sun.

Spurs have enjoyed a superb season under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino and currently sit second in the Premier League, five points behind leader Leicester City.

Given their impressive form in the 2015-16 season, Spurs chiefs are confident that they can lure Henderson to the club in a deal that would significantly weaken a top-four rival.
