Ajaccio 1 - 0 Caen: Ajaccio secure vital win over Caen

Ajaccio boosted their chances of survival with a 1-0 win against high-flying Caen.
The best opportunity inside the opening 45 minutes fell the visitors way but Andy Delort saw his close range effort well saved after Ronny Rodelin had nodded Alaeddine Yahia's free-kick into his path.
Ajaccio improved in the second-half and Khalid Boutaib went agonisingly close with a header on 66 minutes before the former Istres striker broke the deadlock shortly after.
David Ducourtioux's delivery did the damage and, when Boutaib rose above Vincent Bessat at the back post, his header floated over Remy Vercoutre (70) to hand the hosts a vital win that has them seven points clear of the drop zone.
