Niko Kovac's debut on the Eintracht Frankfurt bench ended in a 3-0 defeat as Borussia Monchengladbach moved up to fourth in the Bundesliga.
Lars Stindl put Gladbach in front 10 minutes before half-time when Lukas Hradecky's punch fell at his feet and he sent the ball back past the Frankfurt custodian.
Raffael doubled Gladbach's lead early in the second half with another mistake from Hradecky paving the way for the Brazilian, who lobbed the ball into the unguarded goal from 45 yards after the Frankfurt custodian had given possession away outside his area.
Mahmoud Dahoud then sealed victory with 12 minutes remaining as he cut in from the left and compounded Hradecky's misery by beating him inside his near post.
