Hull City vs Milton Keynes Dons - Robert Snodgrass and Nick Powell could miss Hull's clash with MK Dons

Hull pair Robert Snodgrass and Nick Powell are major doubts for the home game against MK Dons.

Both Snodgrass and Powell are struggling with unspecified knocks, while midfielder Shaun Maloney is sidelined with an ankle problem.

Ryan Taylor (toe) will play no part while boss Steve Bruce is expected to make wholesale changes as he reverts back to his league line-up.

Bruce made seven changes for the midweek FA Cup replay defeat to Arsenal, with only Moses Odubajo, Curtis Davies, Tom Huddlestone and Mohamed Diame retained following last week's defeat at Birmingham.

On-loan Brighton midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey could be back in the reckoning for the Dons after missing the goalless draw at Charlton.

Milton Keynes manager Karl Robinson likes to rotate his attacking players so the likes of Ben Reeves, Alex Revell, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Daniel Powell and Rob Hall will be hoping for recalls.

Carl Baker is getting closer to returning from the ankle injury that has kept him out for over two months but the trip to the KC Stadium will probably come too soon for the midfielder.

Defender Matthew Upson (hamstring) is still out and it is still unclear when the former England international will be able to return.
