Huddersfield Town vs Burnley - Billing returns from suspension for Burnley clash

Huddersfield midfielder Philip Billing is back in contention for the home game against Burnley following suspension.

Billing has served a three-match ban after his dismissal in the recent draw at MK Dons and is expected to feature, while head coach David Wagner could be boosted by the return of several key players.

Goalkeeper Joe Murphy (shoulder), defender Joel Lynch (hamstring) plus midfielders Emyr Huws (ankle) and Karim Matmour (illness) are all hoping to be available.

Winger Sean Scannell (knee) is pushing for his first start since January after stepping off the bench in the midweek win against Reading, but midfielder Jonathan Hogg (knee) remains sidelined.

David Jones should return to Burnley's squad to bolster Sean Dyche's options for the trip to Yorkshire.

An Achilles problem ruled the former Manchester United trainee out of the victory over Fulham in midweek, when the Clarets won a fifth straight game and extended their unbeaten run to 13 Championship matches.

Fredrik Ulvestad started alongside Joey Barton at Craven Cottage, while Dean Marney (calf) came off the bench on his return and is another option for Dyche.

Ashley Barnes and Lukas Jutkiewicz (both knee) are the Clarets' two long-term injury absentees.
