Wycombe Wanderers vs Stevenage Borough - Striker Rowan Liburd should be fit for Wycombe

Posted Friday, March 11, 2016 by PA

On-loan Reading striker Rowan Liburd will feature for Wycombe this Saturday when they take on Stevenage at Adams Park.

It had been feared the 23-year-old had injured his knee on the poor surface at Newport in last Saturday's 1-0 defeat, but he has been given a clean bill of health.

Fellow forward Paris Cowan-Hall (ankle) and goalkeeper Alex Lynch (thigh) remain in the stands for the play-off chasers.

Yet midfielder Marcus Bean could be in line to play having just missed out on the game at Rodney Parade with a hamstring injury.

Defenders Dean Wells and Jerome Okimo could come into contention for Stevenage.

Wells (hamstring) and Okimo (knee) have been absent in recent weeks but are nearing first-team returns after stepping up their training.

Striker Aaron O'Connor (calf) remains out alongside midfielders Chris Welpdale (groin) and Charlie Lee (groin).

Steven Schumacher and Dave McAllister (both knee) are long-term absentees.
