Hartlepool United FC vs Dagenham and Redbridge - Adam Jackson back to boost Hartlepool

Hartlepool boss Craig Hignett hopes to have Adam Jackson at his disposal once again for Saturday's League Two relegation showdown with Dagenham and Redbridge.

The central defender missed last weekend's priceless 3-1 victory at Barnet with a thigh injury, but is in line to return as bottom-of-the-table Daggers head for Victoria Park.

Michael Duckworth is still missing as he continues his recovery following hernia surgery, while defender Harry Worley is working his way back to full match fitness after a long-standing ankle problem.

Pools head into the game five points clear of second-bottom York and six better off than the visitors and with three games in hand on both.

Dagenham will be hopeful of having on-loan Reading man Dominic Hyam available.

The defender has extended his stay with the Daggers but suffered a head injury and required 10 stiches in the recent win over fellow strugglers York.

Fellow loanee Matty Cash is likely to retain his place in the centre of midfield having made his debut against Carlisle last time out.

Luke Guttridge, Frankie Raymond (both ankle) and Zavon Hines (knee) are set to miss out again.
