Peterborough United vs Port Vale - Chris Forrester and Lee Angol back for Peterborough

Posted Friday, March 11, 2016 by PA

Midfielder Chris Forrester and striker Lee Angol return to contention for Peterborough's League One clash with Port Vale.

Forrester has been out with a knee injury and Angol with a thigh problem, but both are back in full training.

Goalkeeper Ben Alnwick (foot) is a doubt for Posh, so Stuart Moore could continue in goal.

Striker Martin Samuelsen (calf) and defender Gabriel Zakuani (knock) are rated 50-50 to feature.

Port Vale could have goalkeeper Jak Alnwick and striker Ajay Leitch-Smith back in their team.

Alnwick is fit again after missing four games with a stomach muscle injury.

Boss Rob Page must decide whether to restore the 22-year-old or continue with Chris Neal, who has impressed in Alnwick's absence.

Top scorer Leitch-Smith sat out last Saturday's 2-0 win over Colchester due to a hamstring problem but looks set to be available having returned to training this week.
