Gillingham vs Crewe Alexandra - Gills boss Justin Edinburgh could tinker with line-up for Crewe clash

Gillingham boss Justin Edinburgh may tinker with his line-up for Saturday's visit of Crewe.

The Gills have no fresh injury concerns, but drew 0-0 at Scunthorpe last weekend.

Captain Doug Loft is carrying an ankle injury but expects to be fit to feature, while defender Bradley Garmston has returned to training following a hamstring injury but is likely to miss out once again.

Striker Cody McDonald (foot) and defender John Egan (knee) remain out.

Crewe boss Steve Davis hopes to have midfielder David Fox available for the game at Priestfield.

Fox missed last Saturday's 1-1 draw with league leaders Burton due to a calf problem sustained in the match four days earlier at Southend, which finished with the same scoreline.

Fellow midfielder Chris Atkinson has returned from a loan spell with Crawley and could be involved, while Lauri Dalla Valle (ankle) and Ryan Wintle (foot) remain unavailable.

Davis' men, 23rd in the table, have lost only two of their last 10 games - but seven of them have been draws.
