Bradford AFC vs Doncaster Rovers - Bradford duo looking to overcome illness to face Doncaster
Posted Friday, March 11, 2016 by PA
Bradford pair James Hanson and Kyel Reid are both hoping to overcome illness in time for the visit of Doncaster.
Phil Parkinson's squad has been hit by a virus, which kept striker Hanson out of the midweek win against Burton, while winger Reid was forced to miss training on Thursday.
Rory McArdle remains sidelined with a dislocated shoulder so Nathan Clarke will continue alongside West Ham loanee Reece Burke in central defence.
Striker Billy Clarke is hoping to retain his place after making his first start since the end of January on Tuesday night as the Bantams bid to climb into the play-off places.
Doncaster will still be without James Coppinger as they look to end a horror run of form at Valley Parade.
Rovers are without a win since January 2, a run of 10 games which has included seven defeats from eight and plunged them into relegation trouble, but must do without Coppinger due to an ankle injury.
Defender Craig Alcock is rated "60-40" for the Yorkshire derby with a muscle strain and will be assessed after training on Friday.
Ailing boss Darren Ferguson hopes to be able to pair Nathan Tyson and Andy Williams in attack again after stating his belief that their goals could be enough to keep Rovers up this season.
