Morecambe vs AFC Wimbledon - Morecambe's Andy Fleming back from suspension for AFC Wimbledon clash
Posted Thursday, March 10, 2016 by PA
Midfielder Andy Fleming could return from suspension as Morecambe take on play-off contenders AFC Wimbledon.
Fleming was sent off in the 2-1 defeat at Bristol Rovers but has now completed his three-match ban and will be looking to go straight back into the starting XI.
Top scorer Shaun Miller returned after his own ban to score his 13th goal of the season in the 1-1 draw at Crawley, which stopped the rot for Jim Bentley's side after four straight defeats.
Andy Parrish is pushing for a return to the side after illness, the 27-year-old having been an unused substitute against Crawley. However, fellow defender Adam Dugdale is ruled out with a foot injury.
AFC Wimbledon will be without suspended striker Adebayo Akinfenwa at the Globe Arena.
The forward was shown a straight red card for foul language at the end of the midweek defeat at play-off rivals Bristol Rovers, having come on as a late substitute, and so will serve a two-match ban.
Striker Adebayo Azeez could be pressing for a recall to the starting XI along with midfielder Andy Barcham after coming off the bench at the Memorial Stadium.
Defenders Will Nightingale and Karleigh Osborne remain sidelined by knee injuries, so Paul Robinson and teenager Ryan Sweeney look set continue at the back.
