Pellegrini calls for consistency
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has urged his squad to remain focused as City eye a strong finish to their 2015/16 Premier League campaign.

The Citizens are currently sitting in fourth position in the table, 10 points behind unlikely league leaders Leicester City.

With only 10 fixtures remaining in the season, Pellegrini says it's important for his team to focus on the remaining games to try and win each one of them, starting with the trip to Carrow Road to face struggling Norwich City on Saturday.

"I think it is important not to think about how many games we need to win," said Pellegrini. "It's just important to try and win the next game. From now until the end of the season, we must be focused on each game and try to win.

The former Real Madrid mentor believes the final five matches are even more intense as they come with immense pressure and every team feels it whether you are challenging for the league title or fighting for survival in the relegation zone.

"For every team, whether they have experience of a title run-in or not, there is a lot of pressure in the last part of the season," he added.

"Maybe if you are not used to being involved, then the pressure is a little bit more. But normally the last five games are very difficult for all the teams because it doesn't matter if you play well or badly, you just have to win the games - so nerves are important at that moment."
