Pizarro eyes another record at Bayern

Veteran Werder Bremen striker Claudio Pizarro has set his sights on another milestone when he comes up against former employers Bayern München on Saturday.
The 37-year-old broke a long-standing Bundesliga record earlier this month when he became the oldest player to score a hat-trick in the league, which came in the 4-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen.
Pizarro was on target again at the weekend as Bremen ran out 4-1 victors against Hannover 96, moving him within one of the club's all-time leading goal-scorer, Marco Bode (101).
The Peru international has a chance to match that achievement or even surpass Bode in the scoring charts this weekend at the Allianz Arena, where he spent two separate spells and won six league titles, as well as the Champions League.
"I only need a goal to do that," Pizarro told the official Bundesliga website on the topic of Bode's record. "We've got 10 more games this season so I think I can do it, maybe even next Saturday.
"Of course it's going to be a special game for me, against my former colleagues at the Allianz Arena. I hope we can beat Bayern, preferably with a goal from me."
