Phillip Cocu admits he was pleased with PSV Eindhoven's performance as they comfortably beat FC Gronigen 3-0 to secure their tenth consecutive victory.
The Rood-witten maintained their one-point lead at the top of the Eredivisie with the win on Saturday evening as Ajax Amsterdam continue to chase them in second place, and Cocu was pleased to get a win against a side they've struggled against in recent seasons.
"The games away from home against FC Groningen have been a tough test for us for many years. So I am satisfied to see my team put in such an excellent performance," Cocu told the club's official website.
The 45-year-old also reserved special praise for one of the goalscorers, 24-year-old midfielder Davy Pröpper.
"The goal he scored to double our lead was one of pure beauty," he added. "These are the moments you relish as a manager."
PSV, who are looking to retain their title this season, are enjoying an incredible unbeaten run dating back the 19th of September, 2015, when they lost 2-1 to Heracles.
