Bristol Rovers vs AFC Wimbledon - Lawrence absent for Rovers' clash with Wimbledon
Posted Tuesday, March 08, 2016 by PA
Bristol Rovers midfielder Liam Lawrence will miss the visit of AFC Wimbledon with a calf injury sustained in Saturday's win at Notts County.
Cristian Montano is likely to start after replacing the 34-year-old and scoring.
Ellis Harrison made his first appearance since late January with a 12-minute run-out against Hartlepool last week but boss Darrell Clarke is being cautious with the forward.
Midfielder Stuart Sinclair is out for six weeks after surgery on a groin problem.
AFC Wimbledon have an almost clean bill of health with just Will Nightingale and Karleigh Osborne absent.
The defensive duo remain sidelined by knee injuries so Paul Robinson and teenager Ryan Sweeney continue at the back.
Experienced duo Dannie Bulman and Adebayo Akinfenwa are pushing for starts after impressing off the bench in Saturday's goalless draw with Accrington.
The Dons are currently seventh, three points behind Rovers in sixth.
