Dumbarton vs Alloa Athletic - Dumbarton without injured Grant Gallagher against lowly Alloa
Posted Tuesday, March 08, 2016 by PA
Dumbarton miss Grant Gallagher, who has a knee injury, as they look to open up a 15-point gap on relegation-threatened visitors Alloa.
Winger Kler Heh is available after a knock and new signing Sebastian Osei-Obengo will be involved if international clearance issues are resolved.
Manager Stephen Aitken said: "Our last home game was a great success with a 3-2 win over Hibs, however our defeat at Livingston on Saturday was a disappointment. We played a big part in the defeat as we missed a number of good chances.
"We have the chance to get going again against Alloa and fully intend to take it."
The Wasps look set to give Isaac Layne a starting berth after he returned from injury as a substitute in Saturday's 2-0 defeat by Falkirk.
Michael Chopra continues to be out with ankle trouble, with manager Jack Ross saying: "We know that we are in a difficult position and only wins will help us get out of it. We are competing well in games but we have to turn that into points.
"Dumbarton will be looking to put a very handsome gap between us, however we will be doing everything we can to make sure they don't. A win would be great for our confidence and make Dumbarton more catchable."
