Lyonnais 5 - 1 Guingamp: Lyon third after Lacazette and Ghezzal inspire hammering of Guingamp

Lyon thrashed struggling Guingamp 5-1 to return to third place in Ligue 1.
Rachid Ghezzal gave Lyon an early lead but the Parc Olympique Lyonnais was soon stunned by a Mevlut Erding equaliser.
Alexandre Lacazette struck either side of Maxwell Cornet's effort before a late own goal from Reynald Lemaitre rounded off a comfortable night for Bruno Genesio's team.
Lyon led after only three minutes. Cornet and Lacazette played a neat one-two and Lacazette's shot hit the post but the ball rebounded straight into the path of Ghezzal, who really just allowed the ball to hit him and bounce into the back of the net.
After 11 minutes though, Guingamp were level. Younousse Sankhare spotted Erding's run across the near post and the Turkish striker flicked the ball past goalkeeper Anthony Lopes with the faintest of touches.
Lacazette rounded the goalkeeper to tap in from close range before Ghezzal's through ball to Cornet put him one-on-one with Jonas Lossl and his shot eventually spun over the line after the ball struck both posts.
Lacazette missed two more chances before turning home Ghezzal's fine inswinging free-kick at the far post from three yards out just after the hour.
Guingamp's misery was complete four minutes from time when Lemaitre headed the ball past his own goalkeeper.
Lopes made two good saves late on as the visitors finished strongly but it was far too little too late for Guingamp, who are now without a win in five league games and fall a place to 17th in the table.
