Everton welcome a resurgent West Ham to Goodison Park on Saturday as both teams look to extend impressive unbeaten runs.

The two clubs enter this weekend's Premier League match on the back of some good results, with the Toffees currently on a 15-game unbeaten run while the Hammers have picked up 20 points in their last 10 outings - only Tottenham can boast a better record over the same period.

Roberto Martinez has often been praised for his attack-minded philosophy and with 49 goals in 27 games, the Merseysiders are currently the second-highest goalscorers in the top flight.

The Spanish coach admitted he is looking forward to facing the east London outfit as the hosts prepare to enter a new chapter in their history.

"This is going to be the first home game [since billionaire Farhad Moshiri bought a 49.9% stake in the club] and I'm sure Mr Moshiri will be around with our fans very soon, and everyone will get to know him," Martinez said in his pre-match press conference.

"This is a really exciting time for us, one of the most significant moments off the field that has happened for Everton and a really important time for our future. What is important is we haven't lost anything in terms of the soul of our club."

Martinez will be without both his left-backs as Leighton Baines and Bryan Oviedo remain unavailable through injury, while Tom Cleverly (illness) is rated doubtful. Muhammed Besic and Darren Gibson will both face late fitness tests but are likely to be available for selection.

Slaven Bilic's side, who have been lauded for their defensive stability this term, will have to make do without James Collins for the next three weeks with a hamstring problem, while Wiston Reid, Joey O'Brien, Sam Byram and James Tomkins remain on the treatment table.
