Livingston vs Dumbarton - Livingston looking to narrow the gap to Dumbarton when the pair meet on Saturday

Livingston have a chance to reduce the deficit on Dumbarton when they welcome Stephen Aitken's side to the Almondvale Stadium on Saturday.

The hosts sit four points adrift of Dumbarton in 11th place in the Ladbrokes Scottish Championship table having picked up just five wins all season.

David Hopkin will be without Gary Glen, who has a groin problem, and Craig Sives - who is not yet ready to return after a hamstring problem - but praised his side's ability to change their approach.

"We have taken four points from the last six however we have had to show different attributes to get those points," the Livingston boss said.

"At Alloa we went out with a very attacking formation and scored three times in the first half to set up our win. In our goalless draw with Morton we had to be strong and resilient. Dumbarton are a good side but hopefully we will find a way to beat them."

The Sons, who are unbeaten against Livingston this season, will include new signing Sebastian Osei-Obengo if international clearance comes through.

Jon Routledge will return after suspension, however Grant Gallacher is out with a knee injury and Kler Heh is struggling after picking up a knock in a midweek under-20 game.

"It was frustrating that our game with Alloa was called off in midweek as we were looking to play again really quickly after defeating Hibs last Saturday. We have done well against Livingston so far and it would be terrific to do well against them in this game as we are at a crucial stage," Aitken said.
