Albion Rovers FC 1 - 1 Stenhousemuir: Ally Love rescues a point for Albion Rovers

Ally Love's equaliser 12 minutes from time earned play-off chasing Albion Rovers a 1-1 Ladbrokes League One draw with promotion rivals Stenhousemuir.

Ross Meechan opened the scoring for the Warriors just after an hour but Love struck to earn what could be a vital point for Rovers.

Colin McMenamin dragged an early shot wide for Stenhousemuir before at the other end Paul Archibald did likewise for the hosts as there were limited opportunities early on.

Love then forced Colin McCabe to make the first save of the evening as defences continued to be on top.

McMenamin fired another effort over the bar for Stenhousemuir before Meechan put them ahead with a right-footed effort in the 62nd minute.

But Love earned the hosts a draw when he fired home in the 78th minute.
