Barnet vs Plymouth Argyle - Barnet looking to keep up their form against Plymouth
Posted Tuesday, March 01, 2016 by PA
Barnet are in confident spirits after striking back to take a point home from Accrington on Saturday and go into the clash with Plymouth looking to extend their unbeaten Sky Bet League Two run to three matches.
Manager Martin Allen will be without Northampton loanee midfielder Chris Hackett, who sustained an injury during that 2-2 draw and had to go off, leaving the Bees to play the final 15 minutes with 10 men after all their substitutions had been used.
Barnet will also be without injured trio Elliott Johnson, Shaun Batt (hamstring) and goalkeeper Graham Stack, while inexperienced teenage striker Matt Stevens, who came off the bench for the last half hour at Stanley, could be named among the substitutes again.
The Bees currently sit mid-table with just one defeat from their last seven league games.
Plymouth will check on Carl McHugh and Kelvin Mellor before heading to London.
Midfielder McHugh missed the 1-0 victory over Notts County on Saturday with a calf injury first sustained against Crawley a week earlier, and Josh Simpson replaced him to make his first start for five weeks.
Mellor is also doubtful after lasting only 16 minutes against Notts County, the full-back suffering a dead leg in a sliding tackle.
Jordon Forster will deputise if Mellor fails to make it, while Graham Carey is expected to play a lone striking role again after his weekend winner.
