Queen of South vs Hibernian FC - Harris to miss Hibs clash

Queen of the South's on-loan Hibernian winger Alex Harris will miss out when the Edinburgh club visit Palmerston looking to recover from consecutive defeats that have hit their title hopes hard.

The Dumfries side are also looking to bounce back from two defeats with manager James Fowler saying: "When we lost to Rangers we received praise for the way that we played however on Saturday against Falkirk we did not play as well as we can.

"We had managed to be ahead at half-time but when Falkirk upped things after the break we could not contain them. We need to get back to a high level of performance against Hibs."

Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs will hope the return of striker Anthony Stokes can help provide the spark his side need.

Stokes, along with right-back David Gray, missed Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Dumbarton through illness but both men are back in Stubbs' squad.

The Leith boss, though, will have to do without defender Paul Hanlon. He suffered a knock to his knee and thigh during the Sons loss and will have it scanned this week.

Midfielder Dylan McGeouch also sits out as he continues to deal with groin trouble.
