Albion Rovers FC vs Stenhousemuir - McBride suspended for Albion Rovers

Albion Rovers miss Scott McBride against visitors Stenhousemuir as the midfielder is banned following his dismissal against Forfar on Saturday.

Paul Willis is also out with a groin injury, with Coatbridge player-manager Darren Young determined his side should bounce back from their injury time defeat at Station Park and extend the advantage they have over the Warriors in the race for the play-offs.

Young said: "We are three points ahead of Stenhousemuir at the moment and it would be terrific to double that. They will see this as a great opportunity to put down a marker, however, we need to stand up to that."

Stenhousemuir striker Colin McMenamin, who scored twice against Cowdenbeath at the weekend, is a major injury doubt for the trip to Cliftonhill after picking up a knock. Alan Cook is available again after a ban, however, Allan Smith remains out with a groin injury.

Manager Brown Ferguson said: "We are close to meeting the targets set for us at the start of the season in terms of points, however, it would be nice to move closer to a play-off place.

"We lost at the weekend despite Colin's goals as we let the pace of the game drop at key times. Hopefully we have learned from that."
