Swindon vs Doncaster Rovers - Jordan Turnbull should be fit for Swindon

Swindon defender Jordan Turnbull is expected to overcome a knock to retain his place for the Sky Bet League One clash with Doncaster at the County Ground.

The 21-year-old on-loan Southampton centre-half was felled by a late challenge late on in the weekend victory at Peterborough and needed lengthy treatment but Robins boss Luke Williams is confident Turnbull will be fit to face Rovers.

However, the game is likely to come too soon for fellow defenders Raphael Branco and James Brophy but the pair should return to training by the end of the week and be available for the weekend encounter with Oldham.

Midfielder Louis Thompson should retain his place in the centre of the park after an assured display against Posh on his return to the starting line-up.

Doncaster defender Gary MacKenzie will travel with the squad and could be included following his return from a loan spell at Notts County.

But midfielder Paul Keegan, skipper for the day in Saturday's 1-1 home draw with Millwall, did not train on Monday after being forced out due to a dead leg and will be monitored.

Midfielder James Coppinger, an unused substitute at the weekend, is struggling to overcome an ankle problem and will also be assessed.

Forward Dany N'Guessan remains sidelined with a toe injury as Doncaster chase their first league win in eight matches.
