Bradford AFC vs Colchester United - Steven Davies set to miss out for Bradford
Posted Monday, February 29, 2016 by PA
Bradford striker Steven Davies is expected to miss the home game against Colchester due to a knee injury.
Davies, who had only recently returned to action following a three-month lay-off due to a similar problem, limped out of Saturday's 1-0 win at Blackpool and will have a scan.
Defender Reece Burke, on loan from West Ham, is doubtful after twisting his ankle at the weekend and Wes Thomas was also forced off at Blackpool and will be assessed after taking a whack on his calf.
Winger Paul Anderson is back in training and closing in on a return to contention after breaking his leg in September.
Tom Eastman returns to the Colchester squad following suspension.
The defender served a one-match ban against Shrewsbury at the weekend following his red card at Bury.
However, boss Kevin Keen could stick with the defence which battled to a first clean sheet in 27 matches in the goalless draw with the Shrews, which included a debut for West Ham loanee Leo Chambers.
George Elokobi (hamstring), Alex Wynter (head) and Marvin Sordell (ankle) are set to miss out again.
