Doncaster Rovers 1 - 1 Millwall: Doncaster halt Millwall's winning run

Doncaster ended a four match losing run and Millwall's five-game winning streak away from home into the bargain with a hard fought 1-1 draw.

In fact the home side were unlucky not to win the game after dominating for most of the second half following a shaky start.

Millwall snatched the lead after just six minutes when Steve Morison lobbed advancing keeper Thorsten Stuckmann from outside the box for his 13th goal of the season following a mistake by Paul Keegan.

Promotion-chasing Millwall looked well in control but struggling Doncaster battled back in fine style to grab a 37th-minute equaliser.

Andy Williams dribbled through on the right and crossed the ball for Richard Chaplow to slot home from close range against his former club.

Doncaster forced the pace after that as the visitors were put under constant pressure but Lynden Gooch headed just wide in the 68th minute before visiting keeper Jordan Archer produced an instinctive save to deny Nathan Tyson.

Millwall hung on in the closing stages, with Archer doing well again to prevent Conor Grant from snatching an injury-time winner.
