Dumbarton vs Hibernian FC - Routledge banned for Hibs clash

Dumbarton will be without the banned Jon Routledge as they host a Hibs side looking to bounce back from their 3-0 shock defeat by Morton.

Jamie Lindsay and Garry Fleming have both been passed fit enough to start but Grant Gallagher is a doubt.

Sons boss Stephen Aitken said: "We were disappointed with aspects of the 5-0 defeat by Dundee in midweek. They are a good side and we gave them a good run but we have to take the defeat on the chin.

"We have a good squad when it comes to recovering and I recognise that Hibs will be looking to do the same after losing to Morton."

Hibernian hope to have Dylan McGeouch, Martin Boyle and Danny Carmichael back in their squad.

McGeouch went off against Morton with a groin strain while the latter two missed the Easter Road clash.

Head coach Alan Stubbs told HibsTV: "Dylan is a little bit stiff. He feels okay. Martin Boyle wasn't feeling too well before the game and Danny Carmichael was a little bit stiff in his groin from playing his first game in just under six months. Danny will resume training so we will have a couple of additions to the squad."

Stubbs insists there will be no panic following the shock home loss.

"One result doesn't alter what we want to achieve this season," he said. "It's important there is no knee-jerk reaction from me to the players. They have done a lot of things right this season. They paid for mistakes and we have to make sure we cut those out."
