AFC Wimbledon vs Oxford United - Osborne and Nightingale out for Dons
Posted Friday, February 26, 2016 by PA
Karleigh Osborne and Will Nightingale are AFC Wimbledon's only injury absentees for the visit of Oxford.
Osborne is set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury in training a fortnight ago.
Fellow defender Nightingale hopes to appear again this term, though, having stepped up his training following five months out with a knee problem.
Full-back Jon Meades faces his former club, for whom he made just 10 appearances in two years before joining the Dons last summer.
Oxford boss Michael Appleton must decide whether to recall a "shattered" Kemar Roofe for the trip to Kingsmeadow.
The 19-goal forward has been carrying a groin problem and was left at home for Tuesday's 4-1 win at Exeter.
Captain Jake Wright (hamstring) will not be back until next week at the earliest while Appleton has confirmed striker Ryan Taylor is still a couple of weeks away.
Jordan Evans is back in contention for a starting berth after recovering from a cracked rib and defender Johnny Mullins will play despite suffering from an eye problem of late.
