Plymouth Argyle vs Notts County - Plymouth players nursing knocks ahead of County clash

Several Plymouth players are nursing knocks ahead of the home clash with Notts County.

Midfielder Carl McHugh and top scorer Jake Jervis were among those who required treatment during the physical midweek encounter at Yeovil and face a race against time to be fit for Saturday.

Striker Tyler Harvey misses out once again with an ankle injury but he is set to return to action in early March.

Second-placed Plymouth are 12 points behind leaders Northampton having won just one of their last five games.

Notts County boss Jamie Fullarton is likely to make changes after back-to-back defeats.

Behind 3-0 at Accrington in midweek, the introduction of Ronan Murray and Adam Campbell from the bench coincided with an upturn in fortunes for the Magpies. Both strikers got their name on the scoresheet as Fullarton's team lost 3-2 and they will have done their chances of starting in Devon no harm at all.

Stanley Aborah has been left out of the squad recently and the midfielder should be hoping to be involved this time.

Defender Scot Bennett has missed the last three games with injury and he will be checked on before the squad travels.
