CHELSEA are working on a deal for Juventus star Paul Pogba.
WANTED: Chelsea are desperate to land Paul Pogba
The Blues are desperate to land the French midfielder after missing out on him last summer.
Chelsea failed with a bid for the ex-Man United man then, and don't want a repeat next time around.
Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Paris St-Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also interested in the player.
But Chelsea are trying to beat their rivals to the punch by opening talks early with Juve, who value the player at ï¿¡80.
Italian outlet Tuttosport claims owner Roman Abramovich has ordered staff at the Premier League outfit to work on a deal for Pogba - who could be joined by ex-manager Antonio Conte in west London.
Starsport understands Conte is locked in a straight fight with Manuel Pellegrini to become Jose Mourinho's permanent replacement.
The Italian brought Pogba to Juve on a free transfer in 2012, and the pair could now be reunited at Stamford Bridge.
