Hibernian FC vs Greenock Morton - Hibernian wait on Martin Boyle ahead of Morton's visit

Hibernian head coach Alan Stubbs is hopeful Martin Boyle will shake off an illness in time to feature against Morton in the Ladbrokes Championship.

The winger, who hit a double during Sunday's win over Alloa, missed training on Tuesday.

Stubbs told the club"s official website: "We are good from the weekend, as in no fresh injuries. Martin Boyle wasn't in today because he was feeling a little under the weather, but we're hopeful that he'll feel okay come kick-off time."

Stubbs is definitely without midfield pair Daniel Handling and Fraser Fyvie, who both remain on the sidelines with knee injuries.

Morton manager Jim Duffy will give Michael Miller until close to kick-off to prove his fitness after missing Saturday's loss to Falkirk with a calf problem.

The Greenock side are already without Luca Gasparotto (ankle) as well as Frank McKeown, Alex Samuel and Peter MacDonald (all knee).

Duffy said: "Hibs are bang in form and we need to ensure that we remain well organised throughout.

"We need our defenders not to make a single mistake and our strikers to be ruthless if we are to do anything."
