Duo set to return for Ipswich

Luke Hyam and Jonathan Douglas are both set to return to the starting XI as Ipswich welcome Hull in the Sky Bet Championship on Tuesday.

Hyam missed the game with Bristol City last time out due to a calf injury whilst Douglas has been absent for Ipswich's last three games following a red card at Birmingham.

The Blues have lost two league games in a row but manager Mick McCarthy is still without Ryan Fraser and Teddy Bishop due to hamstring injuries.

Cole Skuse (toe), David McGoldrick (groin) and Giles Coke (knee) also remain sidelined.

Hull manager Steve Bruce is set to make wholesale changes after making 10 for the goalless draw at Arsenal on Saturday in the FA Cup.

Nick Powell made his debut for the club but is expected to make way with Bruce likely to revert back to the side which started in the 0-0 home draw against Brighton last Tuesday.

That will mean a return for the likes of goalkeeper Allan McGregor - Eldin Jakupovic was man of the match against Arsenal - striker Abel Hernandez, plus midfielders Mo Diame, Sam Clucas and Jake Livermore.

Defenders Andrew Robertson and Michael Dawson are also expected to return as Hull bid to extend their lead at the top.
