PARIS ST-GERMAIN want £40million for Manchester United target Edinson Cavani.
INCOMING: Will Cavani move to the Premier League?
The Uruguay striker wants a move to the Premier League – like his Paris team-mate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 34.
And both United and Chelsea are eyeing a potential deal.
But United will not meet PSG’s valuation on a player who was 29 last Sunday.
The Old Trafford club were willing to pay £50m for Cavani when previous United boss David Moyes was in charge.
But that was two seasons ago and they would not go that high now.
That is despite a top striker being certain to be a summer target for United, regardless of who the manager is then.
Cavani gave a reminder of his scoring threat when he came off the bench to fire the winner against Chelsea in the Champions League last Tuesday.
That prompted his father to say he should move to Real Madrid, Juventus – or United.
Cavani controversially skipped PSG’s training camp in Doha last month sparking claims that he had fallen out with Ibrahimovic and coach Laurent Blanc.
