Granada vs Valencia - Ricardo Costa urges Granada to give their all

Former Valencia defender Ricardo Costa has called on his Granada team-mates to give their all as they bid to climb off the bottom of the Primera Division table when the sides meet on Sunday.
Granada were sent to the bottom of the table on goal difference when Levante defeated Getafe 3-0 on Friday and Costa knows only victory against Valencia at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes will be good enough to aid his team in their plight.
The Portuguese defender told a press conference: "I had a good time at Valencia, I have many memories, many friends, but during the game I will defend the colours of Granada. It's an important game, I'm only thinking about Granada."
Costa expects a difficult game against Valencia but urged his colleagues to give their all.
He added: "We have to be 110 per cent concentrated in order to achieve the victory that is most important.
"We have to think about ourselves, what to do and how to block the opposing team and if we do I'm pretty sure we will win the game."
Despite their precarious position Costa knows a positive result against Valencia would make a big difference and he is trying to remain optimistic.
He said: "We are at a time when we have to correct the errors. This match is a chance for us to play the game of our lives and take the three points. "
Valencia head coach Gary Neville has his focus firmly on picking up three points at Granada despite celebrating his 41st birthday with an emphatic 6-0 win over Rapid Vienna in the Europa League.
The former Manchester United defender has endured a torrid start to life in management in Spain with the 2-1 win over Espanyol last Saturday the first under the England assistant coach in the Primera Division since he took charge at the Mestalla.
Valencia followed that up with victory against Rapid but Neville refused to get carried away after a Santi Mina double and goals from Daniel Parejo, Alvaro Negredo, Andre Gomes and Rodrigo eased the pressure on the under-fire coach.
Rather than dwell on the victory Neville is focused on moving his side up from mid-table.
He said at his pre-match press conference: "The squad is stronger, more confident. I'm very happy but now I'm focused on Granada.
"I hope to start a positive run but it is dangerous to start thinking about turning points.
"I never thought I needed a result to see a turning point - sometimes we cannot explain how we have not got wins."
