United sweating over De Gea
Manchester United are anxiously awaiting news on goalkeeper David de Gea after he injured his knee while warming up for his side's Europa League match against Midtjylland on Thursday.

De Gea was seen limping when United were going through their final warm-up routines and was subsequently replaced in the starting line-up by Sergio Romero.

Romero performed well in the round of 32 first leg match, but he was unable to stop United from being stunned 2-1.

United manager Louis van Gaal revealed that De Gea will undergo scans on Friday to determine the severity of his injury.

"Also a knee problem, so we have to wait and see," he told BT Sport. "We have to investigate [on Friday] with a scan or something like that. We cannot answer now."

The news of De Gea’s injury comes just a day after Van Gaal confirmed that captain Wayne Rooney would be sidelined for six weeks due to a knee injury.
