Yeovil Town vs Portsmouth - Yeovil must cope without suspended Nathan Smith

Yeovil will be without the suspended Nathan Smith when they host Portsmouth.

Defender Smith starts a three-match ban after his red card at Hartlepool last weekend so captain Darren Ward, fit after a month out with knee and toe injuries, is set return to the starting line-up.

Jack Compton faces a couple of weeks on the sidelines with a hamstring injury and Kevin Dawson is out with an ankle knock.

Wes Fogden, Jordan Gibbons and Omar Sowunmi remain long-term absentees.

Portsmouth manager Paul Cook has a fully-fit squad to choose from.

The return to fitness of midfielder Danny Hollands means Pompey no longer have any absentees as they start a run of four games in 11 days.

Cook could stick with the same side that ended a four-match winless run in all competitions by beating Bristol Rovers 3-1 at the weekend.

If Cook does decide to freshen his side up ahead of their hectic schedule, striker Marc McNulty will be at the front of the queue after coming off the bench to scored the third on Saturday.
