Crawley Town vs Plymouth Argyle - Problems mount for Crawley ahead of Plymouth clash

Posted Friday, February 19, 2016 by PA

Crawley manager Mark Yates must juggle several absentees for the League Two visit of Plymouth.

Former Argyle captain Simon Walton serves the first game of a three-match ban for his red card at Accrington last week.

Joe McNerney, owing to a knee injury, will also miss out.

Jimmy Smith is Yates' other concern as he struggles with a foot injury.

Argyle midfielder Josh Simpson hopes to be fit to face his old club.

The former Crawley captain, who joined Plymouth on a free transfer last summer, has missed the last two matches due to a muscle spasm but has now returned to training.

If Simpson is passed fit, Tyler Harvey will be Plymouth's only injury absentee.

The striker has not figured since December and remains sidelined by an ankle problem.
