Bolton Wanderers vs Queens Park Rangers - Gary Madine and Jay Spearing set to miss out for Bolton

Bolton pair Gary Madine and Jay Spearing are major injury doubts for the home game against QPR.

Striker Madine has missed the last three games with a back problem and midfielder Spearing was forced out of last week's 3-2 defeat at Brighton due to a groin strain.

Full-back Dean Moxey is hoping to return to contention after a dead leg ruled him out against the Seagulls, but fellow defender David Wheater and midfielder Liam Trotter (both hamstring) remain sidelined.

Striker Zach Clough (hip) made his first appearance in a month off the bench last week and is expected to be involved again.

Rangers will check on the fitness of Alejandro Faurlin.

The Argentinian midfielder was missing from the side thumped 3-1 by derby rivals Fulham last weekend due to a thigh problem.

Striker Conor Washington dropped to the bench against the Cottagers as he was carrying an ankle injury, but he came on at half-time and could be fit enough to start.

Midfielder Tjaronn Chery is also pushing for a recall after scoring Rangers' late consolation after coming on as a substitute.
