Ex-Liverpool boss Rodgers on Newcastle radar

Former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is being linked with Newcastle United.
The Shields Gazette says Toon bigwigs are seriously considering a move for Rodgers if results do not pick up.
Newcastle were hammered 5-1 against Chelsea on Saturday - just weeks after Steve McClaren splashed the cash again in the January transfer window.
They now face crunch clashes against Stoke and Bournemouth respectively.
It's claimed further poor results in those games could seal McClaren's fate.
David Moyes is also thought to be in the frame after leaving Real Sociedad in November.
