Chicharito has been a revelation in the Bundesliga this campaign following his off-season move from Manchester United and has scored 13 goals in 17 league appearances.
The Mexico international's rich vein of form has resulted in interest from several clubs, including Liverpool and Arsenal.
Schade, though, says Hernandez is an integral part to Leverkusen's plans and will not be considering any offers for the 27-year-old.
"First of all, he has a contract," he told the Rheinische Post. "His move to us has shown that he is not only after the money.
"Hernandez has never said that he wants to leave. He feels comfortable because he knows he is appreciated.
"We are a team that allows him to play, he has benefitted greatly from the style we play and from playing with his team-mates. He will help us, but we also help him.
"If we reach the Champions League we have a very good chance of keeping him at the club."
