Serge Aurier: Disgraced PSG defender set for crunch talks on Monday after abusing his teammates on social media

According to reports in France, Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier will learn his future at the Parc des Princes on Monday.

The full-back caused controversy over the week, when footage emerged of him insulting his teammates-including Zlatan Ibrahimovic and goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu-as well as coach Laurent Blanc on social.

The defender was subsequently by PSG and will play no part in the French giants' Champions League Last 16 first-leg bout against Chelsea on Tuesday evening.

Indeed, it remains to be seen what the future hold for the 23-year-old, and how the domestic heavyweights will ultimately deal with him.

According to Goal, the club have set a date when they will meet with Aurier to discuss the future, and the player will learn what disciplinary sanctions he will face on Monday.

The right-back's absence represents a major boost for Chelsea, with Aurier proving to be a considerable threat both domestically and in Europe for the Parisians.

As well as a relentless, raiding presence down the right flank, Aurier has also scored two goals and contributed two assists for PSG in Ligue 1, and managed one goal and one assist for the French giants in the Champions League.
