Rotherham United vs Birmingham - Neil Warnock set for first game as Rotherham boss
Posted Friday, February 12, 2016 by PA
Neil Warnock will take charge of Rotherham for the first time when Birmingham visit New York Stadium.
Nicky Eaden has prepared the Millers squad this week following the departure of Neil Redfearn earlier this week but Warnock, who will remain in charge until the end of the season, is expected to be in the dugout on Saturday.
Midfielder Andrew Shinnie is unavailable as he is on loan from Blues.
Strikers Luciano Becchio and Leon Best (both groin), midfielder Lee Frecklington (hamstring) and defender Stephen Kelly (calf) are all occupying the treatment room.
Birmingham stalwarts Stephen Gleeson and Jonathan Grounds are doubtful for the game.
Midfielder Gleeson sustained a thigh injury in last weekend's defeat by Sheffield Wednesday while Grounds suffered a knock in training.
Midfielder David Cotterill is on the comeback trail from the hamstring injury that has kept him out for a month and played for the Under-21s this week but Rotherham probably comes too soon.
Defender Ryan Shotton impressed in that match and will hope to make his debut after signing on loan from Derby last month.
